Event Schedule
11:30 AM – Event Opens

Waddle Run - 1 Mile Fun Run registration and check-in
- Vendor tables

- Food trucks
12:30 PM – Waddle Run Begins
Strut, waddle, or sprint your way through Waterworks Park in our quack-tastic one-mile fun run. Whether you're as fast as a flying mallard or prefer a leisurely paddle, this race is open to all ages and speeds—just like our little rubber duck racers.
Every participant will receive:
- A fin-tastic race medal
- A quack-tacular race shirt
1:15 PM – Waddle Race Costume Contest —it’s a race you won’t want to duck out of!
Best Duck-themed Costume wins - 4 tickets to the Akron Rubber Ducks VIP Package and the opportunity to throw out first pitch ). The winner must run the race in costume to win
2:00 PM – Ohio Rubber Duck Dash - 10,800 rubber ducks will race the rapids! Stick around to see if your’s will win!
2:45 PM – Winners announced and prizes distributed.
Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners who are not present will be contacted on Monday 4/28/25.
